We complete the majority of our restoration and building envelope renewal projects in cooperation with engineering consultants and according to their specifications, working throughout British Columbia. For non-structural repairs, we also work directly with strata councils, building owners, and property managers.
To identify and design effective solutions, affected areas must be investigated and contributing factors carefully considered. Once established, your scope of work can vary from a small localized repair to design improvements that require a building envelope engineer consultation.

It was time for this eleven-storey concrete apartment building in North Vancouver (Lower Lonsdale) to be cleaned and repainted. The owners kept a similar colour scheme but once renewed the building looks fresh, bright & fantastic. You can certainly tell the difference with the ‘before’ photos. The project was overseen by a local painting inspection consultant. Swing stage access also provided the opportunity to undertake necessary concrete repairs & sealant renewal in various areas. With the project complete, the owners can enjoy their beautiful waterfront location and spectacular views.
Scope of Work:
The strata owners of this beautiful Main street area property needed to address a variety of building exterior issues. They partnered with a local engineering firm and Remdal to complete urethane membrane application on the balcony slab edges and eyebrows as well as a full building repaint and various other targeted items. The result is quite amazing and much to the owners delight, the building really does look new again.
Scope of Work:
This great, historic apartment building overlooking Davie Street in Vancouver’s eclectic West End required an exterior refresh and concrete repairs. The ownership group invested in a building envelope renewal & restoration project that included exterior painting, concrete repair, and haz mat abatement precautions. The Remdal team worked closely with ownership and the tenants to ensure the safety of everyone involved, and provide owners peace of mind about their building for many years to come.
Scope of Work:
The owners of this extremely busy commercial warehouse in Delta hired a building engineer to oversee our Remdal team perform concrete repairs & re-paint of their building. Over the pre-planned two-year timeline, our crew organized their work to maximize efficiency and avoid interruptions to the busy loading docks. The client was very pleased with both the process and how revived the building now looks. Their refreshed building exterior offers a clean, professional, first impression for any visitors.
